NEW ORLEANS — At Domilise’s Po-Boys & Bar, the Tuesday lunch rush came with an extra serving of pride.
The award is a distinction celebrating restaurants that serve exceptional, but simpler-style food at reasonable prices.
“We feel pretty good. It’s a pretty prestigious award to get," manager Cindy Zimmer said. "We're just a small group, you know, and we work our butts off to keep it going, to keep it good, keep the food the same, and it's a real good honor. Really, really makes us feel good, at least we know we're working for something."
Longtime fans of Domilise’s weren’t surprised. One customer said they were impressed by how deeply Michelin’s inspectors explored the local food scene.
