Let’s face it: Sussan Ley’s leadership was always doomed.
Recent reports suggest she is done for, regardless of where the Liberal Party lands in its ludicrous net zero debate. Ley is expected to ditch the policy to save her leadership, with a majority of Liberals now in favour of following the Nationals down the climate denial rabbit hole. Insiders say there will be a leadership challenge in the new year either way, with conservatives still deciding which generic-looking A-hole (Angus or Andrew) to back.
