SEATAC, Wash. — Seattle-Tacoma International Airport reported “no major impacts” Tuesday as the federal government shutdown approached record length , even as national officials warned of potential “mass chaos” in the skies if the standoff continues.
As of midday Tuesday, there were 1,932 flight delays reported across the United States.
“No major impacts here. Kudos to all of our local federal workers who have continued to show up to work despite not being paid,” a SEA Airport spokesperson told KING 5 News.
