More than 2,000 arrests have been made since the deployment of the Memphis Safe Task Force on September 30, according to a City of Memphis data portal that provides daily updates about the city's crime statistics since the federal law enforcement arrived.
In just over one month since the task force deployed, the portal shows that law enforcement has made 883 felony arrests and 1,164 misdemeanor arrests, with 303 arrests involving violent warrants, for a total of 2,048 alleged criminals taken off the streets since the end of September.
