The first set of College Football Playoff rankings are out. And Alabama football sits near the top.
In the first set of CFP rankings released Tuesday, Nov. 4, Alabama was ranked No. 4 nationally.
Alabama is the highest-ranked one-loss team. The Crimson Tide lost its season opener on the road at Florida State Saturday, Aug. 30.
Alabama has been the No. 4 team in the country in each of the past three editions of the US LBM Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide is also the ranked No. 4 in the latest Associated Press poll.
