Regina Hill has failed to reclaim her seat as the Orlando City Commissioner in District 5. Shan Rose has been reelected after receiving 51.84% of the votes.

Orlando has been focused on the heated battle for the district 5 commissioner's seat.

Hill served on the Orlando City Commission for nine years. She's spent the last few months trying to get reacquainted with the voters in Carver Shores and other neighborhoods west of I-4 after being suspended from office in March 2024.

Hill was suspended for alleged exploitation of the elderly and is facing trial next year. She's asking voters to give her another chance.
