A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a months-long police investigation into an incident in which a man was injured during a shooting.
Sam Graham Sokolski did not enter a plea when he made a brief appearance before Magistrate Chris Webster at the Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Mr Sokolski and co-accused Jarod Kringle were arrested last month after police executed search warrants at addresses at Herdsmans Cove, north of Hobart.
Tasmania Police began an investigation after a man received head and neck injuries during an alleged shooting incident on Calvert Crescent just before 5pm on January 18.
According to a statement at the time, the police believed the victim was deliberately targeted and that the parties were known to each other.
