MIDLAND COUNTY, MI — A Sanford man has been arrested and charged with 12 felonies for allegedly sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl.

Zackery Prince, 31, was arraigned on Monday, Nov. 3, in 75th District Court on six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and six counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to court records.

The alleged assaults date back to March 20, 2024, court records indicate.

Prince, who was issued a $5 million cash/surety bond, is currently being housed at the Midland County Jail, Sheriff Scott Holzinger confirmed in a news release.

According to the arrest affidavit, the child told investigators the assaults started when she was 5 and happened roughly 100 times, the Midland Daily News reported .
