For the 11th time in 12 years, Notre Dame is the PAISAA girls volleyball champion.
Notre Dame claimed a four-set victory over No. 1 seed Springside Chestnut Hill on Tuesday. The Irish prevailed over their Inter-Ac co-champ, 18-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.
Kayla Edginton led the way with 15 kills, four aces and seven blocks. Cece Clement supplied six blocks and five kills. Molly Meehan led the defense with 18 digs.
Field Hockey
Rebecca Block tallied a hat trick and added two assists as Episcopal Academy tallied a 6-0 win over Germantown Academy in the PAISAA tournament.
Sydney Powell, Eliana DeGennaro and Anna Lunn added goals for the Churchwomen.
