A UPS cargo plane – a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 freight – crashed shortly after taking off from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport on Tuesday (local time) evening. According to UPS, the plane was carrying three crew members, all of whom are feared dead.

Several videos of the jet crash have surfaced across social media platforms, showing the exact moment the MD-11 freighter going down near the airport after takeoff, followed by flames and a plume of smoke.

The aircraft was operating a Louisville–to–Honolulu flight, UPS said in a statement.

"UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky," the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.
