SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) -- Voters in the City of Spartanburg have chosen incumbent Jerome Rice their next mayor.

Rice was first elected in 2021 after serving three terms on Spartanburg City Council.

In an interview with 7NEWS, he said that his focus for his second term involve establishing a children and families council to help guide city initiatives.
