In the two contested St. Vrain Valley school board races, Hadley Solomon and Meosha Babbs are in the lead, based on early election results.
In Niwot’s District B, Hadley Solomon had 62.6% of the vote and opponent Peggy Kelly had 37.4%, according to initial results as of 7:45 p.m. from Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld counties. The winner will replace incumbent Karen Ragland, who is term-limited.
Solomon is a consultant to technology and climate and sustainability companies. She has said one of the biggest issues facing the district is using technology in safe and effective ways.
Kelly is retired after working in health care. She has said the issues facing families and kids will define what she considers the most important issues in the district.
