SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — All precincts have now reported in the race to fill South Carolina House District 98, and unofficial results show Sonja Ogletree-Satani and Brian Hill leading their parties’ primaries.

According to the Dorchester County Board of Elections, Ogletree-Satani captured about 58 percent of the Democratic vote, defeating Damian Daly and Stephen Kohn, who withdrew from the race weeks ago but still received nearly 29 percent of ballots cast.

On the Republican side, Brian Hill leads with roughly 43 percent, followed by Greg Ford with 39 percent and David Johnston with 17 percent. Because no GOP candidate reached a majority, a runoff between Hill and Ford is expected.

Turnout was just over 13 percent, with more than 3,200 ballots cast across Dorchester County.
