LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WEVV) —

Update as of 10pm: Authorities confirm 7 have died, 11 are injured.

Update as of 7pm: A tragic incident involving a UPS plane crash has led to at least three deaths and 11 injuries, with the situation expected to worsen as authorities continue their investigation.

Gov. Andy Beshear updated the public, saying that UPS will release new information as it becomes available.

"The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation," Beshear said. He could not confirm if hazardous waste was present in the plane.

A shelter-in-place order has been issued, and the Kentucky National Guard, Homeland Security, and local fire departments are on the scene alongside other first responders.
