Jaylen Brown was furious after the Celtics lost to the Jazz on Monday because he thought the officials missed a foul call on Keyonte George. Turns out, Brown was right. The NBA released in its last two minute report Tuesday that the officials should’ve called a foul on George as part of the controversial play.
Per the report, “George (UTA) slips and falls into Brown’s (BOS) path, tripping Brown” with 50.4 seconds left in the Monday’s game. Here’s a look at the play . George slips and fouls Brown, which resulted in a fast-break score for the Jazz on the other end.
After the game, crew chief Kevin Scott explained in a pool report why there was no foul call on George.
