ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The Bernalillo County Clerk's Office has confirmed to KOAT that election results were delayed to shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The County Clerk tells KOAT's Alyssa Munoz that people are still waiting in line to vote at many polling locations in Bernalillo County and Albuquerque.

In New Mexico, if you are in line to vote by 7:00 p.m., you will be allowed to cast a ballot.

All voters who showed up to voting lines after 7:00 p.m. will be turned away.
