Town of Bradford, Wis. (WMTV) - Authorities said a teenager is dead and three children are hurt after a crash in Rock County Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office reported.

A call came just after 3:45 p.m. for a report of a single vehicle crash with injuries on S. Emerald Grove Road and E. Larsen Road in the Town of Bradford.

An investigation shows a 17-year-old driving a Volkswagen was heading north on S. Emerald Grove Road, just north of E. Larsen Road.

Authorities stated the driver lost control and went into a ditch on the west side of the road.

The vehicle rolled over several times before it came to a rest in a corn field.

A 15-year-old boy died in the crash.

Three other children were taken to the hospital for serious injuries. Officials said they are expected to be OK.
