Austin police seek newborn taken by female suspect, AMBER Alert issued

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police issued an AMBER Alert on Tuesday night for a missing 50-day-old boy taken by a female suspect.

Officials said the child is a Black male and identified the suspect as Kayla Washington, 32, a Black female. Washington was last seen wearing a dark navy blue shirt and black sweatpants.

Police are urging anyone with information to call 911 or to contact the Austin Police Department.
