Ray Ruth held a commanding lead in the Weld RE-4 School Board District A race Tuesday night.
As of shortly after 8:30 p.m., Ruth had received 5,003 votes, according to the Weld County Clerk and Recorder’s website.
Christopher Kiraly was trailing with 4,138 votes.
Ruth, who is an incumbent, was first appointed to the seat in January 2023 and was later elected in November of the same year.
“I’m really excited to continue my tenure with the school board,” Ruth said Tuesday night. “I’m definitely grateful to all of my friends, neighbors and community members who all came out to vote in this election.”
