MEMPHIS, Tenn. - New details have emerged in a crash Monday afternoon that injured a Memphis Police (MPD) officer.
MPD said it all started just before 4:45 p.m., when an officer was chasing a homicide suspect behind the wheel of a black Hyundai Elantra. As the officer pursued the Elantra in an unmarked police car on Raleigh Lagrange Road, a third vehicle pulled in front of the officer — causing him to swerve and lose control, police said.
