PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Newly released video captures a Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy trying to stop a driver clocked at over 120 mph on Loop 202 , sparking a high-speed chase that was terminated before the suspect crashed at Terminal 3 at Phoenix Sky Harbor.

The sheriff’s office said one deputy was conducting holiday weekend DUI enforcement around 1 a.m. Sunday on Loop 202 near Priest Drive in Tempe when a driver, later identified as Ivan Correa, passed by at speeds exceeding 120 mph.

A high-speed pursuit ensued as Correa drove through Phoenix Sky Harbor trying to evade authorities. Deputies terminated the chase due to concerns about the dangerous speeds.
