DUBUQUE, Iowa — Mayor Brad Cavanagh has won another term in office, securing 54 percent of the vote against challenger Jason Davis, who received 46 percent. With all precincts reporting, Cavanagh celebrated his victory at Jubeck New World Brewing in Dubuque.

Cavanagh, beginning his second term in January, emphasized his commitment to growth, infrastructure, and making Dubuque an attractive place to live. He highlighted ongoing projects during his campaign, including more than 2,600 homes in development and investments in public safety and community development.

"Our focus will be on 'people first' leadership," Cavanagh said as he addressed his supporters.
