HAMPDEN -- The Orono boys soccer team beat Mt. View by a score of 3-2 in penalty kicks to win the Class C North regional title.

Tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, Mt. View senior forward Tanner Oathout and Orono freshman Gabe Lule created multiple chances in extra time, however neither found the back of the net.

In PK's the teams went back and fourth, as Mt. View had two chances to win it, but missed both attempts. In the 10th round, Orono junior Mustafa Kallah buried the pen to punch Orono's ticket to the Class C title game.

Orono will face Hall-Dale on Saturday at Cony high school for the Class C state championship.
