DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Duluth School Board has added two more faces to its team as education in the country is at a critical point.
Amber Sadowski and Kelly Durick Eder were selected by voters to fill the seats on the board .
Amber Sadowski is an incumbent, and she received 38.27% of the votes in the election.
Sadowski says her lobbying experience over the last few years gives her a leg up in helping with budget issues.
“In the face of millions of dollars of cuts to maintain a balanced budget and a healthy reserve, even in the face of our ESSER funds dropping off, that was the COVID relief dollars,” said Sadowki.
