Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos were looked at by many across the NFL as a dark-horse Super Bowl contender before the season started. So far, they have done nothing to change that as the Broncos are 7-2 and atop a loaded AFC West that features the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs as well.
One of the biggest reasons the Broncos had such high expectations is because of a defense that is as good as any in the league. The Broncos have 40 sacks on the year, which is 12 more than the second place Detroit Lions.
While the offense doesn't always look how a Super Bowl contending offense is expected to look, Nix and that group have shown all year the ability to make the big play in big moments.
