Sadie Gasparotto and incumbent Eric Klein will represent Clive on the City Council after winning the city’s two at-large seats Tuesday, Nov. 4, according to unofficial results.
Gasparotto received 39% of the vote, followed by Klein with 36%, while challenger Mike Alowitz earned 25% of the vote, the unofficial results show.
Council member Michael McCoy did not run for reelection to his seat but instead unsuccessfully ran for mayor .
In a separate, uncontested race, Breanne Hocker, who was appointed in 2024 to fill a vacancy, ran unopposed and will serve a two-year at-large term.

Gasparotto, 45, is a nonprofit consultant and licensed master social worker. She said her focus is preparing Clive for “life beyond growth."
