Odisha farmers will earn ₹3,169 per quintal for paddy this Kharif season as the state government boosts support through a ₹69 MSP hike and an ₹800 input subsidy.

The Central Government fixed the Minimum Support Price at ₹2,369 per quintal for the 2025–26 Kharif Marketing Season. Building on this, Odisha added an ₹800 subsidy to offset rising input costs and ensure fair returns. As a result, the total procurement price now stands at ₹3,169 per quintal.

Grade ‘A’ paddy will fetch ₹3,189 per quintal, offering even greater value to farmers producing premium varieties. The Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department confirmed the revised rates through an official notification.
