BILASPUR: At least 11 people were killed and several others injured after a passenger train collided from behind with a stationary goods train near Bilaspur station in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, leaving passengers in a state of shock. A survivor, who was travelling from Akaltara town in Janjgir-Champa district, described the terrifying moments during the crash. "Before I could understand what happened, people started screaming and shouting for help," she recalled. Her coach had climbed onto a wagon of the cargo train due to the force of the impact. She said her leg got trapped under the seat, and she was rescued by responders and first taken to the railway hospital before being referred to another medical facility.
