INDIANAPOLIS — Many people have their own ideas about how to make the city of Indianapolis a better place.

On Tuesday, a group of young people with the Boys and Girls Club got to share their ideas with some of the leaders who make decisions at their own Teen Town Hall.

The kids had a lot to say about crime, homelessness and the everyday things they see in the community, at school and at home.

Inside the Boys and Girls Club gym, a group of Indianapolis decision makers did something different. They listened.

"We like to make the decisions on our own and forget about going to the people, the young people who are going to be impacted by our decisions," said Maggie Lewis, Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis CEO.
