Ahmedabad, Nov 5 (IANS): RSWM, a major Indian textile manufacturer, has signed an agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) to supply 60 MW of renewable energy, enhancing its green power contribution from 33% to 70% of its total energy mix.

RSWM invested Rs 60 crore for 31.53 crore units of green power annually under the Group Captive Scheme. RSWM’s Chairman emphasized the alignment of growth with sustainability, while AESL’s CEO highlighted the significance of this collaboration in promoting industrial decarbonization.

AESL aims to reach a C&I portfolio of 7,000 MW within five years, showcasing its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
