Nate’s Fine Foods Recalls More Than 245,000 Pounds of Ready-To-Eat Pasta Dishes Sold at Major Retailers, Including Trader Joe’s
Federal and state health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections linked to ready-to-eat pasta dishes and salads manufactured by Nate’s Fine Foods, Inc., a Roseville, California–based company. The company has voluntarily recalled more than 245,000 pounds of prepared meals sold at major grocery retailers nationwide, including Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Kroger, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Albertsons.
The recall includes nine refrigerated and frozen pasta meal products distributed nationwide. Nate’s Fine Foods said it initiated the recall “out of an abundance of caution” and is cooperating with the U.S. Depa
