The Washington Commanders are signing former first-round draft pick Treylon Burks to their 53-man roster, NFL Network reported on Tuesday.
Burks, a wide receiver, signed with the Commanders on Oct. 17 and was sent to the practice squad after being released from injured reserve last month by the Tennessee Titans.
Burks had one catch for 14 yards after being elevated to play in Sunday's 38-14 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Washington is dealing with numerous injuries at the wide receiver position, including Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Luke McCaffrey (collarbone). McLaurin is considered doubtful to play this Sunday against the Detroit Lions, while McCaffrey is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season.
