Raise awareness and money to help the global water crisis on Saturday at the annual CSRA Walk for Water at SRP Park in North Augusta.
The event supports Water Mission, a Christian engineering nonprofit organization that provides safe, sustainable water solutions worldwide and operates in developing countries and in disaster zones providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions, according to a news release about the event.
“When our community comes together to walk for water, we’re not only raising funds, we’re walking in solidarity with the millions of people who make this journey every day,” Jeff Kertscher, CSRA Walk for Water spokesman, said in the news release. “Each step we take helps transform lives.”
