Michael Madhusudan Dutta (MMD) College, Sabroom celebrated the World Tsunami Awareness Day today. This year's theme was "Get Prepared for Tsunamis: Invest in Tsunami Preparedness." The main goal of this day was to raise global awareness about tsunamis and their destructive impacts. In the current context of rapid climate change, the balance of nature is being threatened.

The event was attended by Dr. Anupam Guha, Principal along with Dr. Kamal Acharjee, Dr. Dipankar Deb, Dr. Uma Begam, members of alumni association, other faculty members and students.
