One of the most famous and unfortunate incidents in South Indian politics happened in Karur a few weeks ago when the political rally of Thalapathy Vijay led to a stampede which claimed 41 lives.

Vijay was away from the public eye for several days after this incident before finally coming out and holding a meet up with the victim families. He even handed over ₹20 lakh compensation to the victims before meeting with the family members last week.

Now, several days after the actual incident, Vijay has taken an unexpected stand as he has started to fire on Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin.

In his latest public communication, Vijay started to blame the chief minister for the series of events that happened after the horrifying Karur fiasco.
