Most Windows and macOS users prefer Google Chrome for its user-friendly interface, extensive collection of extensions, and seamless integration with other Google services. However, this widespread adoption has also made Chrome a prime target for cybercriminals seeking to exploit newly discovered vulnerabilities.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has recently issued a high-severity security advisory for desktop versions of Google Chrome.
