Emma DeBalko and Megan Kelly each scored two goals as Oley Valley cruised past Central Columbia 5-0 on Tuesday in the first round of the PIAA Class 1A field hockey playoffs.
The Lynx (20-5-1) play District 1 champion Faith Christian (16-5) in the quarterfinals on Saturday at a time and site to be determined.
Kadyn Rhoads had a goal and an assist for Oley, and Madison Parisan had an assist.
Goalies Charlotte Prout and Megan Schaeffer each made 3 saves in combining for the shutout.
Oley had an 11-6 edge in shots and 13 corners to four for Central Columbia (17-4-1), the District 4 runner-up.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Lynx scored a goal in the second quarter and then three in the third quarter to break open the match.
