Kate Middleton and Prince William have moved into their new home with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Forest Lodge, the Grade II listed Georgian home within the 4,800-acre Windsor Great Park estate, is just four miles down the road from their previous home of Adelaide Cottage but will offer the Waleses a fresh start following a period of turmoil that includes Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's title drama and the Princess of Wales's cancer battle.

Acquired by the Crown in 1892, Forest Lodge is a Georgian pile that boasts marble fireplaces, plaster cornices, and a half-barrel-vaulted ceiling. Both the Prince and Princess of Wales will find something to love about the lodge: for football fan Prince William, there is a clear view of the Wembley
