BEACHWOOD, Ohio --
Child endangering: Cedar Road
At 11 a.m. Oct. 28, a member of the cleaning staff at The Vantage apartments, 27030 Cedar Road, informed police that she had seen an unaccompanied young child wandering throughout the building.
An apartment employee brought the child, whose age was redacted from the police report, to the leasing office. There, an officer found that the child was wearing a necklace that had engraved on it his name and date of birth.
The child wore a full, leaking diaper. He told police that his uncle was supposed to be watching him, but he did not know what room his uncle occupied.
The employee sent out texts and emails informing those in the apartment that a lost child had been found. At the same time, the uncle called police about the missing boy. He w
