Renowned film and television personality Ashukile Mwakisulu will be laid to rest this afternoon in his home village of Kilupula Chiefdom in Karonga District.

Mwakisulu passed away on Monday at Mwaiwathu Hospital in Blantyre due to liver complications. Born on July 29, 1976, he is survived by his wife and three children.

Friends, family, and members of the community are expected to attend the funeral to pay their final respects to the celebrated entertainer, who left a lasting impact on Malawi’s film and television industry.
