SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters were called to the west side for an abandoned house on fire on Bandera road early Wednesday morning.
SAFD says they forced their way into the building through a burnt wall on the outside of the home.
Crews say the small fire started externally, possibly due to activity from people experiencing homelessness.
The battalion chief says damage to the building was moderate. Officials say the building was someone's home at one point as well as a store.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
