SAN ANTONIO — The charges against Myrta Romanos have been dismissed in a case linked to the murders of Savanah Soto, her unborn child and Matthew Guerra, according to court records.
Romanos is the stepmother of Christopher Preciado, who is accused of shooting Soto and Guerra and investigators say his father helped hide the bodies. Romanos faced three charges including abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
In December 2023, Soto and Guerra were found shot and killed inside a car.
