(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakota leaders are making plans on how best to spend federal dollars that they expect to receive before the end of this year. Officials say the grant for the Rural Health Transformation Program could be worth as much as 200-million dollars. On its grant application, the state said the money would be used for the purposes of connecting technology and data, advancing the rural workforce, keeping healthcare local and strong and transforming systems for sustainability.
