DENVER (KDVR) — Denver Water is purchasing new land to relocate from Denver's Burnham Yard, making way for the new Broncos stadium.
The utility provider announced on Sept. 9 that as the Broncos move into Burnham Yard, Denver Water will need to relocate some of its facilities, and now a clearer idea of what that will cost is emerging.
Denver Water said in September that its Administration Building, where about 600 employees report, will stay in its current location, but the buildings that house the operations and maintenance, distribution, trades, fleet, meter shop, warehouse and health clinic workers must be relocated.
