Alejandro Garnacho's time at Manchester United was marked by his attitude and public outbursts that drew fan backlash. However, Chelsea coaches have reportedly been encouraged by the Argentine's behaviour towards training since his arrival.

The 21-year-old ended his time at United in late August, completing a £40m move to Stamford Bridge . Garnacho was signed from Atletico Madrid for a nominal fee in 2020 and went on to make 144 appearances in a Reds shirt.

His career at Old Trafford eventually came to an end after failing to adapt to Ruben Amorim's system. In December, he was dropped for the Manchester derby alongside Marcus Rashford , and later omitted from the Europa League finale in Bilbao.
