A list for the top places for retirees has been released.

And, wouldn’t you know, one of the top 10 is in Pennsylvania ?

Conducted and published by U.S. News & World Report , Altoona, Pennsylvania, is the eighth overall best place to retire in the United States.

This was determined after researchers at the publication assessed Altoona — as well as the 858 other cities on the list — across factors such as Quality of Life; Affordability; Health Care Quality; Retiree Taxes; Population and Migration for 55+; and “Job Market.
