In a commendable move towards inclusive electoral participation, 97 out of 103 eligible voters, comprising senior citizens and persons with disabilities, exercised their franchise from home in the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The Election Commission of India facilitated this initiative for voters aged above 85 and those with over 40 percent disability.
Hyderabad: Out of the 103 voters who applied for home voting, 97 senior citizens and persons with disabilities exercised their right to vote from their homes.
