A West Lothian veteran is set to march in the Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph in London this Sunday – fulfilling a lifelong dream they thought had passed them by when they lost their sight.
Ian Baker said the opportunity to take part and salute the King is the honour of a lifetime.
Ian, who served in the Royal Air Force, is supported by Sight Scotland Veterans and is a regular at the charity’s Linburn Centre in West Lothian.
He said: “Thanks to Sight Scotland Veterans, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to march in the Cenotaph Parade in London.
