Free agency season is almost upon us, and that means that pending a late-breaking pseudo-extension, Raisel Iglesias and Marcell Ozuna will have free rein to sign with another team and appear in another uniform for the first time in quite a while.
Iglesias was last seen in another team’s attire in 2022; for Ozuna, it was 2019, in a postseason in which he helped eliminate the Braves from further contention.
Iglesias still projects as an above-average reliever; he finishes 2025 with 1.0 fWAR and actually ended up with a lower FIP than xFIP, despite massive homer issues early in the season.
