In tune with his vow to make government schools rival private institutions, Education Minister N. Lokesh is taking up new initiatives to hone the skills of the students in government schools. As part of it, he had ensured that the schools were provided with additional classrooms and infrastructure, under the Mana Badi-Mana Bhavishyattu.

Today a team of students from AP government schools were taken to New Delhi, in a IndiGo flight, sponsored by the government. The students would visit the National Science Museum, Nehru Planetarium and Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi. The students would stay in the national capital for two days to complete visiting all the places on the itinerary.
